Travel to Monreale the Norman “Mons Regalis”, to have a look at the majestic dome, founded in the 12th century by the Norman king William II.
It is 6.340 square meters of polychrome and gold mosaics and all this makes it  a  magnificent testimony of the Norman conquest of Sicily.
Transfer in Cefalù , known for it’s long golden beach as well as for other monumental and artistic “jewels”, the Norman Duomo, the  Osterio Magno that was  the probable residence of King Roger II. A visit to Cefalù cannot exclude a walk along the lanes in the historical centre where you can linger amongst the numerous shops of ceramics and souvenirs.Lunch on your own
